the patient care e orts of the pharmacy team, with roles
and responsibilities that continue to expand and evolve.
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, pharmacist
assistants dispense prescription and over-the-counter
medication to customers, maintain inventory, maintain le
records, and perform other duties as needed.

only, they typically take care of the administrative side
of the pharmacy such as maintaining pharmacy file
records, taking customer phone calls and managing the
cash register. A knowledgeable Pharmacy Assistant
helps the pharmacy team to achieve better
patient health outcome.
